- Working Conditions: May be exposed to dirt, dust, and the possibility of injury from falling or dropped stock and exposure to cuts and bruises and lacerations may exist.

- PHYSICAL EFFORT: Lifts moderately heavy items that weigh up to 75 lbs. Heavier items are moved with material handling equipment or with assistance from other workers.
- PHYSICAL EFFORT: Used in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, arms, feet, and legs, while steering and operating hand and foot controls on the material handling equipment.
- PHYSICAL EFFORT: Duties require prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching above the shoulder, and climbing. A moderate amount of hand, wrist, and arm movements is involved.
Qualifications
To qualify for the Electrician Leader, KE -2805-00, you must meet the following requirements:
Applicants must meet the following Screen-Out element, Job Element #73 - Ability to Lead or Supervise as an Electrician Leader to be considered for this position. Applicants must have experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to independently perform the duties typically required of an Electrician Leader.
Examples of these duties include:
1) Serve as the first-line leader that ensure employees follow work instructions and safety protocol in accordance with Directives, policy, and guidance;
2) Coordinate repair efforts with other leaders to maintain shift to shift continuity;
3) Track material costs and reports costs in the Computerized Maintenance Management System; and
4) Maintenance and repair of the electrical systems used in the manufacturing process.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Only experience and education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.

Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
