For the GS-10:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting and analyzing designs, diagrams, and schematics to evaluate feasibility; 2) Troubleshooting hardware and software of laboratory systems such as RADAR, robotics, and environmental systems; AND 3) Applying knowledge of electronics and components such as microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators to design control computers.
For the GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Designing, developing, and integrating computer hardware, peripherals, sensors, controllers, and networks for use in specialized control systems; 2) Maintaining complex lab systems such as robotic systems, radar, sonar, vision systems, communications systems, embedded computing and environmental testing systems; AND 3) Advising and assisting others on the best project design techniques and component selection.
