However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Electronics Worker (Motor Vehicle Operator) without more than normal supervision. The ability to perform common duties which include: 1) Using test equipment following prescribed procedures and precise instructions to determine needed repairs; AND 2) Maintaining electronic equipment of limited complexity such as sub-assemblies, printed circuit cards, and chassis to complete electronics systems. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- ELECTRONIC WORKER: Light to moderate physical effort is required. Employee frequently lifts and carries up to 40 pounds. May occasionally lift heavier items with assistance. Work requires sitting, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, and working in cramped or awkward positions. Occasionally, work in high places may be required. Must be able to distinguish colors and shades of colors to distinguish color codes.
- MVO: Moderate physical effort in reaching; bending; and turning or moving hands, arms, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls and to make couplings between the vehicle and towed equipment is required. Frequently handles objects weighing up to 40 lbs. and occasionally handles heavier objects while loading cargo with the assistance of other workers.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- ELECTRONIC WORK: Work is usually performed in well lighted, heated, and ventilated areas. Work may be performed outside with exposure to cold, heat, and inclement weather and occasionally in high or restricted places. Employee may be subject to injuries, such as electrical shock, cuts, bruises, and burns.
- MVO: Driver operates vehicles in all types of traffic and weather on and off the installation. Driver is exposed to dirt and fumes and to the possibility of cuts, bruises, and broken bones as a result of accidents while driving or from falling objects when loading and unloading vehicle.
