SCREEN-OUT: Ability to perform the work of elevator mechanic (electronics) without more than normal supervision which includes working independently, showing job responsibility and exercising initiative.
WG-10: Possesses working knowledge of the mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic philosophies related to the work performed.
WG-11: Possesses operational knowledge of the mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic philosophies related to the work performed.
WG-12: Possesses in-depth knowledge of the mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic philosophies related to the work performed.
License - Completed and obtained an Elevator Mechanics license through an accredited program such as National Elevator Industry Educational Program (NEIEP), Certified Elevator Technicians (CET), or have completed Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) mechanic training and be a licensed mechanic.
