You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes knowledge and experience developing, coordinating, and reviewing the Installation Emergency Management Plan (EMP); Providing emergency management training and education including exercises, drills, and scenario-based training; Assisting in developing and maintaining Force Protection and Anti-terrorism plans; Reviewing and ensuring compliance with relevant directives, policies, and procedures, incorporating the National Incident Management System, the P2MR2 (Prevention, Preparedness, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery) program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
