Conditions Of Employment Continued:
- The incumbent will be enrolled in a medical surveillance program and must meet the requirements outlined to support the Chemical Surety mission.
- An annual physical as well as an annual medical surveillance exam is required. Employee is subject to an annual respiratory fitness exam for the proper wear and usage of a chemical protective mask.
- The Medical Surveillance exam will include a respirator clearance for a 12-month period.
- The incumbent will receive an annual and bi-annual fit test.
- The incumbent will be required to have their M-40 exchanged every six (6) months as well as a new fit test for the mask that has been issued.
- Please note that the employee is subject to a respiratory fitness exam at any time.
- Both male and female employees must maintain full compliance of all hair and facial hair standards in accordance with Army Regulation.
- Position is designated as Mission Essential. The incumbent will be required to report to work during times of contingency operations, natural disasters, extreme weather or other emergency situations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes demonstrated experience: Providing emergency medical assistance and transport that included conducting triage and basic assessment of patients; administering IV's and operating an ambulance or a hospital providing emergency assistance as needed. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
OR
Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, which supports the knowledge, skills and ability to do the work of the position.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
