Serves as road construction and maintenance crew supervisor.

Duties
- Plan the work to be accomplished by assigning work to employees and establishing production or quality standards for the unit's work.
- Determine manpower and appropriate equipment needed to complete projects.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate construction and maintenance projects.
- Repair and maintain vehicles in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance to ensure they meet safety standards and are cost-effective.
- Operate tractor/trailer combination heavy trucks exceeding 50,000 lbs. on winding roads and steep grades.
- Develop work plans and schedules projects related to or using engineering equipment.
- Supervises 25% or more of the time.

Additional Requirements (Screen-out):
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Must possess and maintain a valid class A CDL as a condition of employment. Please attach proof of CDL with application.
- Drug Testing - This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Department of Transportation (DOT)/Forest Service Alcohol and Controlled Substance Testing Program. Applicants must acknowledge this requirement to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use unless they currently occupy a TDP under the DOT/Forest Service Alcohol and Controlled Substances Testing Program.
