pecialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1.) Providing subject matter expert (SME) leadership on planning and execution of logistics and fielding activities; 2.) Ensuring fielding, equipping priorities and training schedules are synchronized; and 3.) Mentoring logistics professionals by providing guidance, reviewing work performance, or developing junior team members. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service DE-02/GS-11.
The Chemical Biological Center (CBC) is participating in an alternative personnel system known as the Laboratory Personnel Demonstration Project (DEMO). The pay band DE-03, Category 2, is equal to the former GS-12 step 01 through GS-14 step 10.
