All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-01/31/2025-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement.
In order to be qualified for this position, you must possess one of the following:
One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service conducting research on historic structures to provide input into preservation/restoration plans; preparing drawings or reports to document the condition of historic structures; and applying established techniques to preserve or restore historic materials.
OR
Three years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a PhD or equivalent graduate degree in illustrative design, commercial art, fine arts, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, or other fields related to the position
OR
Combination of graduate level education as described above and specialized experience as described above that when combined, equals 100% of the total requirement.
Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect full and/or part-time or total number of hours worked (i.e., work 40+ hours a week, rather than indicating full-time). If part-time, the hours must be annotated to be able to pro-rate the amount of qualified specialized experience.
You will not receive credit for experience that does not indicate the exact hours worked per week or is listed as "varies". Please ensure your resume/employment history includes all the information listed above. Failure to adequately provide the information stated above will result in that time not being credited when evaluating qualifying experience.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
