  • You will provide financial analysis, coordination, integration, and support across multiple functional teams.
  • You will implement internal controls and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities.

  • This is a Financial Management Level 2 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Non-Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. SCW level required: SC4E2

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-2 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Developing, recommending and implementing budgetary/financial policies;
2. Developing and rendering authoritative interpretations of departmental and agency guidance, directives, policies, orders, etc.;
3. Making determinations and performs/advises on work in any phases/systems of budget administration;
4. Ability to brief organizational an external finance senior leadership on status of Partner funding execution and accounting of funds.
