Summary

This position is part of the Interior Business Center (IBC), Office of the Director (OD), IBC Enterprise Management. The incumbent will be responsible for providing a variety of administrative support activities for the Facilities Service Group.


Duties

  • Receives and routes payroll documents, financial payment documents, correspondence, reports, and other miscellaneous materials to the appropriate offices.
  • Establishes and maintains proficiency in the use of all equipment, Including, but not limited to, postage scales and meters, date stamps, personal computers, fax machines, folding inserter machines, and copy machines.
  • Conducting some property management functions involving furniture received and minor maintenance.
  • Maintaining standard inventory controls over warehoused furniture items; Arranging delivery of items to be stored in the warehouse coordinating Shipping and Receiving.
  • Restocking to maintain inventory control; Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment (powered and manual pallet jacks).

At the GS-05level, you must meet one of the following qualifications:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes 1. experience transmitting mail for a facility or large operation 2. experience working in an inventory system 3. experience setting up tables and chairs for events and 4. records keeping for the vehicles.

OR

EDUCATION: 4 years above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial, or technical school, junior college, college, or university. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience as listed above. To be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.

Stipulations of Employment:

This position requires possession of a valid commercial driver's license, therefore such proof is required.

Miscellaneous:
