FOR GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets, manipulating data, and performing basic formatting and calculations.
- Experience formulating budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities.
- Experience analyzing historical expense data to perform annual budget and execution review, reconciling budget data to prevent variances.
- Experience developing budgetary policies and practices.
- Experience implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets and providing advice and methods for acquisition and use of funds to support programs and activities.
FOR GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets, manipulating data, and performing basic formatting and calculations.
- Experience drafting budget and cost estimates in support plans, programs, and activities to be reviewed.
- Experience analyzing historical expense data to perform annual budget and execution review, referring unusual or controversial issues to supervisor for assistance.
- Experience interpreting and applying budgetary policies and practices.
- Experience researching legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets.
