Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ability to work with financial systems (such as SAP, Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL) to track and extract data, identify defects, and assist in training material development. 2) Basic understanding of financial processes and budgeting. Basic understanding of accounting theory, concepts, practices, and auditing techniques, particularly as they apply to financial system operations. 3) Ability to analyze operational processes and recommend improvements to streamline operations or address inefficiencies. Ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively to leadership. Ability to work as part of a team to support the organization's financial system operations, communicating effectively with peers, stakeholders, and management. 4) Understanding of financial system administrative tasks, including time and attendance, personnel administration, and master data maintenance. Ability to support financial system enhancements and updates. 5) Ability to assist in coordinating financial system-related projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines, and managing individual tasks to meet team goals.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Expertise in the functionality and operation of financial systems (e.g., SAP, SQL), with a deeper understanding of integrated design, system reporting, and data management. Ability to assist in optimizing the use of financial systems across the organization. 2) Proficient in accounting principles, budgeting, and financial regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge to financial operations and system improvements. Ability to evaluate and analyze financial processes. 3) Demonstrated experience in assisting with the identification, design, and integration of financial system improvements or upgrades. Ability to lead or support efforts to integrate new processes or technologies into the financial system. 4) Ability to conduct comprehensive analysis of current financial operations, identifying issues and inefficiencies, and recommending process improvements based on data-driven insights. 5) Ability to provide technical direction to junior staff and coordinate with various teams to ensure successful implementation of financial system enhancements. Experience in leading small projects or tasks to support larger financial goals. 6) Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to senior leadership. Ability to clearly articulate financial system issues, proposed solutions, and status updates.
