- Failure to complete management prescribed courses for full-time support personnel within the first year of employment or assignment, may be cause for reassignment or termination.
- Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
- Position is subject to the provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program.
- Indefinite employment can be terminated with a 30 day notice.
- In the event a permanent (Tenure 1 or 2) employee is selected, and is willing to accept the indefinite appointment, that employee will relinquish permanent status.
- Management has the right to convert indefinite employment to permanent status without re-advertising.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
- This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
- Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
- Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
- May be required to travel by car, in military and/or commercial aircraft, and by other means of transportation as appropriate to perform temporary duty assignments.
- This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration.
- This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position IAW the NDAA 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program.
Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess possess skill in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; skill applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material; skill in presenting formal training presentations and briefings; and the ability to prepare reports and presentation formats.
GS-11 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess one year of specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the GS 09 grade level that demonstrates your ability to plan, coordinate, and perform comprehensive financial management analysis, decision support and quality reviews, of base level accounting and financial management programs; prepare, analyze, interpret, present, and advise on accounting and financial data; and concurrently organizes and administers the operation of automated financial systems in support of financial management functions The specialized experience must also demonstrate you possess an excellent understanding of the basic principles and concepts of financial business program requirements; and experiences and training that demonstrates the abilities to follow directions, to read, retain, and understand a variety of instructions, regulations, policies and procedures.

Education
Must possess an awarded undergraduate or graduate college degree that is based on the completion in one of -or- be a combination of the following disciplines: Accounting, business, finance, economics, math, statistics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organizational management.
YOU MUST submit copies of college transcripts that identify each course, the college or university, semester or quarter hours earned, grade and grade-point received.
