Additional Conditions of Employment Continued:
- At the time of appointment, the incumbent must possess a valid State Driver's License, certification with the Department of Defense Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (DOD/EVOC), California State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT/AED), Firefighter I, and obtain Inland County Emergency Medical Agency (ICEMA) status within 60 days of hire.
- The incumbent must be certified at the appropriate firefighter certification levels as outlined in the DODI 6055.6.M, Department of Defense (DOD) Fire Emergency Services Certification Program.
- Must participate in mandatory physical fitness program. Considerable stress is involved with emergency situations.
- An annual physical is required, to determine if physical ability is adequate for performance of duties.
- Required working 72-hour workweek and being subject to recall during off duty hours.
- The applicant must complete a NACI on SF85 or SF85P. Failure to obtain a favorable Suitability Determination is grounds for removal. Misuse of Government IT systems is cause for disciplinary action, including removal.
