NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: A1C up to TSgt eligible to apply. Selected individual must be assigned to a compatible military position in the following AFSC upon date of hire: AFSC 2F0XX. The AFSC(s) require an aptitude of M47 and G48 and a physical profile of 111121K. Aptitude scores can be checked on the vMPF or at the Customer Service in the Force Support Squadron and physical profile in the medical squadron. Military grade inversion within the full-time work force is not permitted. The military grade of the full-time supervisor must equal or exceed the military grade of personnel supervised.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to follow instructions and to safely operate the type of equipment required to accomplish the duties of the position.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have
at least 18 months experience in the KSAs listed below. Experience or training operating, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, and overhauling fuel systems and components. Experience or training initiating and controlling the movement and storage of fuel supplies by operating high pressure systems with a series of terminals connected by cross-country pipelines or multi-fuel storage and distribution facilities connected by a network of internal pipelines.

- Knowledge to organize, administer and evaluate a segment of the fuels quality assurance program for the organization.
- Skill to direct, inspect, operate and maintain a complete fuels distribution system(s) to receive, store, transfer and issue both aviation and ground fuels.
- Knowledge to operate, inspect and perform all required maintenance and repair on 400-5,000 gallon cryogenic storage tanks.
