Specialist Experience: Have one-year of experience which includes: includes 1). Experience in development of CWMD training and operations within Special Operations Forces (SOF) Experience in operational environments such as Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED), Countering Unmanned Aircraft Systems (CUAS), and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD). 2). Experience in developing CWMD doctrine and policy at the strategic/Major Army Command (MACOM) level; 3) Understanding SOCOM and HQDA requirements processes for the CWMD portfolio at the MACOM level; AND 4) Communicate orally and in writing with the ability to brief General Officers or Senior Executive Service personnel on support plans and analysis. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
