SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this position (i.e., Budget Analyst, Budget Assistant, Financial Assistant or similar position). To be creditable, this experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-7 level in the Federal service. Qualifying experience includes, but is not limited to, developing and managing budgets, tracking income and expenses, utilizing accounting software such as QuickBooks, performing budget and/or financial forecasting and/or analysis; and developing financial plans using spreadsheets and word processing programs. NOTE: This experience must be reflected in your resume to qualify.

GRADUATE EDUCATION: A master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of this position (Financial Administrative Assistant) (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: An equivalent combination of education and specialized experience as described above to meet the requirements for this position. NOTE: Only graduate education beyond the first year may be used to qualify. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)

Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary. The incumbent uses a computer and standard office equipment to complete tasks. However, physical mobility and moderate strength are needed to move about the two office floors comprising CCDOR and to lift, carry, and distribute items such as records, files, and supplies. CCDOR is located in a separate MVAHCS building approximately 2 blocks from the main hospital building. Some walking or travel between building locations may be required several times per week in all seasons and any weather conditions for the purpose of attending meetings, and transporting and disseminating office supplies, records, or files. The incumbent may transport these items by carrying them, pushing a cart containing the items, or other means as necessary.
