Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Demonstrated ability to perform the duties described above using the theories, principles, practices and techniques of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Qualified":
1. A Bachelor's Degree in finance, business administration, economics, accounting, or other finance related field from an accredited college or university.
OR
At least 2 years of specialized experience performing financial analysis and evaluation work.
OR
An equivalent combination of education and specialized experience.
2. Knowledge of the principles of accounting and financial analysis; and budgetary and financial policies, methods, procedures and regulations used in forecasting and overseeing program funding. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with Management Information Systems such as RecTrac, GolfTrac, CYMS, FoodTrac, SNACS, E-PAY, FMBS, IMETS, MERLIN, SMIRF, and Power BI.
3. Knowledge of Uniform Funding and Management (UFM) process. Knowledge of import/export functions and ability to transport files from one system to another using available import/export functions. Knowledge of Time and Labor Management Software (TLMS) timekeeping systems.
4. Skill in performing various account reconciliations. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
5. Ability to analyze data/information related to planning, performance management, and interpretation of financial and operating statements. Ability to identify and resolve financial problems, identify available resources, recommend ways to best utilize such resources, and provide analysis services to customers. Ability to provide advice and assistance and interpret policy and regulations related to NAF accounting and NAF Internal Controls. Ability to analyze and prepare clear, concise, and technically sound reports related to work within the Branch. Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

- This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
- Foreign overseas allowances, post allowance, and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility. Post Allowance (PA) and Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) are authorized.
