Summary

This position is located at Financial Management Branch.

This position is currently available to be on the Garrison Resiliency Day Off (RDO) schedule and is eligible for the NAF benefits and leave accrual.

Duties

  • Perform or assist higher graded employees with analysis and projection utilizing historical data and various reports.
  • Participates surprise cash count visits and in internal control inspections on a periodic basis.
  • Provides technical financial, budget and/or accounting support by accumulating, processing, compilation and consolidation of financial data in support of IMWRF analysts.
  • Assists Information Management Specialists with defining and correcting problems or Identifying needs of user representatives who work with various NAF Information Management Systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Must have semi-independent work experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.
2. Ability to organize and communicate through written correspondence and oral communication.
3. Working knowledge of principles, practices and methods of budget formulation.
4. Ability to type and operate a personal computer.
5. Knowledge of operation and functions of personal computers to provide problem solving resolution and service to users

Highly preferred criteria: Applicants meeting highly preferred criteria will be referred to management first.(Any experience that meets the Highly Preferred Criteria, must be reflected in your resume to receive credit). Highly preferred is defined as having met ALL of the following criteria:

Knowledge and experience with Office 365 Database Programs AND Excel spreadsheets, formulas and functions.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
Incentives and Bonuses
  • Incentives will not be paid.
