Specialized Experience:You must possess one year of specialized experience which includes: Assisting in the inspection of fire and safety compliance for an organization ; conducting training sessions to a variety of groups on fire prevention and reporting; and assisting in providing supervised analysis of architectural plans for new and existing construction projects concerning fire safety. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: This position requires the incumbent to possess and maintain ALL of the following Department of Defense, IFSAC or Pro Board certifications National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and or State EMT license DoD Firefighter Certifications: Firefighter I; Firefighter II; Fire Instructor ; Fire Inspector I; Fire Inspector II; Hazardous Materials Operations AND Airport Firefighter.
