You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
There is no specific length of training or experience required. However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Food Service Worker Leader without more than normal supervision. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

- Work requires light to moderate physical effort. Workers are subject to continuous walking, standing, bending, pushing and pulling. They may be required to work on ladders and use powered cleaning equipment. They frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds: lifts heavier items with assistance.
- The work is normally performed in a deli or bakery area where some temperatures may be uncomfortable. Areas are well lighted, but there may be dangers of slipping on floors, exposure to hot surfaces and liquids, sharp cutting utensils, and extreme temperatures when entering walk-in refrigerators or frozen foods units.
