Food and Beverage Administrative Coordinator

Job Overview

Join our team at the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department as a Food and Beverage Administrative Coordinator. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the Food and Beverage Branch with a variety of administrative tasks, aiming to enhance patron service and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing local instructions and directives for social and recreational services based on DOD policies.
  • Maintain good patron and employee relations to ensure efficient service.
  • Track employee hours and manage their time card documentation.
  • Oversee daily financial transactions to ensure secure handling and accurate record-keeping.
  • Use computer systems to prepare reports, correspondence, purchase requests, and manage data.
  • Perform various office tasks including answering phones, collecting invoices, filing, and recording meeting minutes.
  • Maintain and oversee all training requirements for Food and Beverage Branch employees.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of DOD component MWR management procedures and general business practices.
  • Experience in handling monetary transactions, audits, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required; familiarity with Rec Trac or similar POS systems is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Requirements

  • Must pass a background check and meet federal employment suitability requirements.
  • Valid state driver’s license required.
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship and compliance with employment verification processes.
  • Ability to work flexible hours with occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
