This position is open to the general public in the local commuting area, to include U.S. and non-U.S. Citizens.

Duties

Performs daily cleaning duties to include, but not limited to, washing dishes, emptying trash, and cleaning kitchen utensils.
Performs opening/closing procedures for the dining areas and coffee bar
Assists with food preparation and prepares coffee orders in accordance with the current menu
Attends to customer orders and operates a cash register
Will serve alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with customer orders

Requirements Conditions of Employment

Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
Must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment, if applicable.
Certificate of Medical Examination required.
Must be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.

An irregular schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and special events is required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must:
1. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
2. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and/or nonalcoholic beverages.
3. Have the ability to follow oral and written instructions in English and possess basic math skills.

Highly Preferred:
Demonstrated experience working in a Customer Service environment is highly preferred
