In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers certificate and or complete Food Handlers training. A minimum of three years of progressive experience in a food and beverage operation is required. Applicant must have specific experience in concessions operations in the following areas: catering, food ordering, procurement, delivery, presentation, customer service, inventory control, budgeting, cash handling, and supervision. This experience may have been gained in the civilian or military food service operation. Knowledge of Qubica's Conqueror Pro POS system and military financial management is desirable. Must present a neat and clean appearance. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. May be required to work an irregular tour of duty to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to conduct standard financial tasks such as cash handling and fund and property controls. May be required to move, handle, lift, etc. tables , chairs, and other equipment and furnishings up to 50 pounds in weight. Position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Bending, stooping and reaching as needed. Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Successful completion of a Tier 1 security clearance is required.

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
