ABILITY TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION/ ABILITY TO PERFORM THE MOST DIFFICULT AND COMPLETE GAS DETECTION MONITOR TASKS INCLUDING:
WG-08
Able to conduct analysis and evaluation and interpret the results to their use in confined spaces. Provide on-site evaluation and determination of required actions in emergency situations that could jeopardize gas free conditions of worksite. Must have comprehensive knowledge of maritime/shore gas free engineering program.
WG-05
Ability to assist higher level employees operating and maintaining a variety of complex equipment such as sound level meters, personal sampling pumps, velometers and various other industrial hygiene/gas free equipment as necessary. Perform inspections of each tank opened and report discrepancies to tank coordinators.
