Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Performing day-to-day technical oversight of junior engineers, ensuring incorporation of best practices for Design for Reliability and Design for Maintainability for assigned engineering products and Reliability Centered Maintenance requirements;
2) Determining the best approach to implement Design for Reliability and Design for Maintainability decisions related to complex engineering problems, in addition to coordinating critical tasks such as engineering investigations, hazard assessments, configuration management and airworthiness/safety assessments;
3) Overseeing the development or evaluation of engineering and logistics documents, engineering change proposals, technical directives, inspection/maintenance requirements, and redesigns for system of system interfaces;
4) Applying knowledge of engineering and logistics management polices, practices and procedures used in the acquisition, design, overhaul, maintenance, and modification of aircraft systems.
