WHO CAN APPLY:
GROUP I - All qualified Male/Female Enlisted Personnel (E4/SrA - E7/MSgt) currently employed (permanent) in the Virginia Air National Guard Military Technician Program.
Military Grades: Enlisted Personnel(E4/SrA - E7/MSgt)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience providing centralized oversight of critical squadron programs including measuring Logistics Readiness Squadron processes through inventory analysis, surveillance, trends and standards, developing and writing local policy/procedures and performing over the shoulder inspection.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-08 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as:
- Performing analysis on a wide range of technical squadron functions by analyzing historical and current data and identifying deficiencies or potential problems during surveillances or staff assistance visits.
- Developing, coordinating, and publishing local supplements.
- . Developing and maintaining trend analysis for stock fund operations and formulates long and short-range projections.
- Analyzing and forecasting financial data to the Wing Finance function, Financial Management Board, and Maintenance Group regarding impact of Stock Number User Directory (SNUD) price changes that affect obligations.
