The area of consideration is USAG Stuttgart wide U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. Duties

  • Performs a wide range of illustrating assignments in the preparation of view-graphs, wall charts, posters, fliers, brochures and Similar materials.
  • Designs layouts and produces graphic designs as requested by serviced activities.
  • Prepares illustrations for manuals, pamphlets, handbooks and similar types of publications.
  • Serves as COR for graphic and production type contracts.
  • Prepares materials for publication. Interviews project proponents who review and identify acceptability of work results.

  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

  • A driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited program in graphic design, art or related field which involves artistic creativity or work experience performing the duties described above.

1.) Possess one (1) year experience in creating branded visuals (logos, graphics, and apparel) in print media for special events for a professional organization? (Portfolio may be requested by management during interview process.)
2.) Possess one (1) year experience in creating branded visuals (logos, graphics, and apparel) for social media for a professional organization?
3.) Do you possess one (1) year experience in graphic design using Adobe In-Design, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop?

PCS Costs

Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).   • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Night differential may be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
