QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE
Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates' experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed. The applicant's record of experience and/or training must show possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position.

In your resume you will need to address the general and specialized experience listed below. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess the experience or training which demonstrate the ability to lead other technicians engaged in duties performed by this occupational series.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess the 24 months of experience to include: 1) ability to lead 3 or more workers in performing trades and labor training assignments; 2) knowledge of electrical theory such as power factors and that which is applicable to transformers, series and parallel circuits, line loading, line losses, etc.; 3) Ability to read and comprehend circuit diagrams and schematics; 4) installing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying high-voltage electrical systems and major substation components of electrical systems; 5) diagnosing trouble and determining remedy when complex relationships exist among different electrical system circuits requiring knowledge of all electrical units and systems; and 6) making high-voltage electrical repairs that required the use of precision measuring equipment and common hand tools.
