Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Advising customers on housing entitlements and allowances.
2) Performing administrative tasks related to housing, managing referral lists and maintaining records.
3) Managing all aspects of the unaccompanied and accompanied housing activities.
4) Supervising and ensuring that the team performs necessary liaison with landlords and other interested parties.
5) Directing the application of housing management operations, techniques, principles, concepts and methodology to administrate an installation housing program.

Additional Information:
Mastery of concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations applicable to Navy Family and Unaccompanied Housing in order to provide expert administration in the acquisition, disposal, operation and maintenance of the Family and Unaccompanied Housing program, housing referral services, assignment and termination procedure, and furnishings/equipment plan.
Proficiency of the knowledge and skills required in appropriately directing the supervision and application of housing management operations, techniques, principles, concepts, and methodology to both conventional and unique assignments which encompass the full range of housing functions at the field activity level, including housing referral; assignment and utilization; maintenance; utilities and services support; long-range planning; budgeting and budget execution; and reporting requirements for family housing and unaccompanied housing under the cognizance of the Commanding Officer.
Expert knowledge of and skill in assigning, directing, and reviewing the work of subordinates. Must exhibit a high level of expertise in planning and executing employee training and development programs; development of appropriate personnel policies involving performance appraisals, hiring, separation, promotion and disciplinary actions; development of adequate policies and procedures to ensure appropriate planning and execution of work operation; labor-management relations and the Equal Employment Opportunity Program, and be able to effectively deal with employee suggestions, complaints, grievances and other matters involved in personnel management. Skill is required in coordinating the fluctuation of the workload to departmental personnel, reimbursable support services personnel and considerable numbers of private enterprise, contractor supplied personnel.
Comprehensive knowledge of and skill in the identification and application of the latest and most advanced modern management and planning techniques to cope with a wide range of problems arising from the widely dispersed multi-family housing facilities, of varied structural designs, condition and age that create diverse maintenance and cost control problems.
Expert knowledge of applicable foreign national laws, U.S. Federal laws, ordinances, regulations, and codes relating to construction, location, operation, and utilization of housing projects and facilities. Skilled in developing related plans, directives, and administrative guides, and communicating these to subordinates.
This position is considered Non-critical Sensitive, IT Level II access. The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain continuous eligibility to hold the designated security clearance.
A valid driver's license is required.
Travel is dependent upon position description and availability of funding.
