In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Experience interpreting and applying rules, regulations, and procedures in accomplishment of clerical/administrative work; utilizing recruitment tools in hiring personnel (i.e., generating job postings, job fairs, or equivalent); advising on routine recruitment strategies; troubleshooting and resolving personnel system and software issues; utilizing office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel).
Condition(s) of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 or T3 Level) is required.
Performance Standards:
Performs all assigned duties in an accurate and timely manner. Works independently, sets work schedule based on work requirements and deadlines. Promptly and courteously receives, greets, and answers questions from customers and telephone callers. Accurately maintains and updates files to enable quick and efficient retrieval of information. Ensures compliance with all established directives. Accurately prepares employment documents in accordance with appropriate directives and policies and in the proper format. Consistently follows up on suspense items and status of security checks to ensure timely completion. Exercises tact and diplomacy in dealing with applicants, employees, managers, and co-workers. Ensures compliance with all established safety and security policies and directives.
Training:
All conferences, workshops, and seminars as deemed necessary by the supervisor. Safety, resource protection, fire protection, customer service, and other local, state, federal, and installation required training. All other appropriate training as deemed necessary by the supervisor.

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
