To Qualify for GS-06:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Extending tentative job offers, collecting and verifying the accuracy of in-processing paperwork and coordinating entry on duty dates;
2) Submitting personnel actions such as promotions, reassignments, separations, etc. into Personnel Data Systems;
3) Providing general HR information and assistance to employees and external applicants;
4) Utilizing Microsoft Office programs to create and prepare reports;
5) Assisting HR Specialists with applicant qualification determinations and applicants' eligibility for lower-graded positions.
