GS- 12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience with public speaking, briefing, and presenting to upper management on technical and in-depth topics to include the preparation of Congressional responses, Commander's briefings, COAs, and action plans for complex issues and solutions.
- Experience with independent management of program and process effectiveness making recommendations and revisions when appropriate. Experience with providing expert factual information on all program phases and ability to keep abreast of regulatory changes to the DFWP and Alcohol testing programs.
- Experience with one-on-one communication with senior level managers and experience with serving as the principal point of contact with the ability to respond to urgent inquiries from drug testing laboratories, the Medical Review Officer, toxicologists, and the Office of Civilian Human Resources.
- Experience in all phases of drug and alcohol testing/collection/training to include random, follow up, post-accident, reasonable suspicion and pre-employment.
- Experience with Testing Designated Positions, associated position descriptions, pre-employment processes, and scheduling of drug tests with third-party facilities worldwide.
GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience collecting drug and alcohol samples, testing (random, follow-up, post -accident, voluntary, reasonable suspicion, and pre-employment).
- Experience with civilian and maritime occupations and practices, their missions, Coast Guard licensing and certifications.
- Experience with requirements, regulations, and federal civilian personnel regulations with the Drug Free Workplace Program and the Employee Relations specialty.
- Experience with federal Regulations researching civilian personnel laws, rules, regulations, policies, and practices.
- Experience with complex problem-solving methods and techniques to provide management advisory services, sound solutions to urgent and complex problems.
- Experience with federal Regulations sufficient to research civilian personnel laws regarding Federal civilian personnel drug/alcohol testing policies.
