In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. EDUCATION: Successful completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration.
OR
EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes assisting with the processing, renewal and maintenance of employee files; reporting demographic, statistical, education and professional information to leadership; receiving and screening correspondence, reports, and documents regarding credentials; assisting with verification of all background information used in establishing a provider's medical expertise. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
