Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major Study - hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration.
In addition, to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below-
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
Serving as an expert in leading and overseeing a hospital compliance program including promoting ethics and integrity on hospital processes and procedures. Knowledge and experience in working with key individuals or key Agencies that specialize in hospital compliance and public health principles such as legal experts, clinical administrators and hospital administrators through a wide range of regulatory scenarios and circumstance. Demonstrated technical authority in the performance of internal risk assessments, investigative processes, compliance incidents, report finding, and development of solutions for various system-level processes to detect non-compliance and provide corrective measures for any violations and implement systems for internal controls for continued monitoring. Proficient in preparing reports and presenting them to Executive Leadership, governing bodies, stakeholders and regulatory agencies of either deficiencies or corrective action processes.
