To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level obtained in either the public or private sector. ~ OR ~
- One (1) full year of graduate education in an area of study directly related to the work of this position. ~ OR ~
- A combination of education and specialized experience listed above. One (1) year of graduate education is equivalent to 18 semester hours unless the school has determined otherwise.
Examples of specialized experience at the GS-07 grade level Identifies and treats trauma/medical emergencies using advanced knowledge and skill in emergency medicine techniques, employee identifies the signs and symptoms of life-threatening and non-life-threatening medical trauma injuries.
