We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Credentialing Specialist to join our Defense Health Agency Network Central team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our medical professionals meet credentialing, privileging, and other compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the expert advisor on clinical staff credentialing, privileging, and related actions.
Review staff actions and provide recommendations to senior officials.
Participate in claim reviews and appeals processes.
Research and implement improvements in credentialing standards and methodologies.
Monitor and ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship required.
Possess one year of specialized experience, including advising on credentialing, researching credential requirements, and consolidating information for decisions.
Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. This includes undergoing a background investigation and credit check.
The position is designated as Mission Essential and may require reporting to work under adverse conditions.
