Join Our Team as a Hematologist/Oncologist

Are you a dedicated medical professional looking to make a difference? We are seeking a passionate Hematologist/Oncologist to join our team at the Buffalo VA Medical Center. In this role, you will provide expert consultation and treatment to our valued patients while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert care in the outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic.
  • Evaluate, triage, and prioritize consultation requests.
  • Conduct medical histories, examinations, and laboratory evaluations.
  • Plan and prescribe patient treatment within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including peer reviews and evaluations.
  • Provide on-call services as required.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree in medicine or osteopathy.
  • Current, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory.
  • Completion of residency training in an accredited program.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • U.S. Citizenship or proof of being a qualified non-citizen as per VA policy.

Preferred Experience

  • Board eligible/certified in Hematology/Oncology with fellowship training.
