Roles and Responsibilities

Provide specialized Hematology/Oncology care in outpatient settings.
Evaluate and prioritize consultations from Primary Care and other departments.
Oversee patient treatment planning, medical histories, and physical examinations.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
Conduct administrative duties such as peer reviews and professional evaluations.
Participate in Hematology/Oncology on-call services.

Qualifications

Education: Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
An unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory.
Completion of accredited residency training with eligibility for board certification in Hematology/Oncology.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Preferred: Board certification and Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship.
Pass a pre-employment physical and background investigation.
Compliance with VA Health Care Personnel vaccination programs.
