To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-5 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Specialized experience must include the following:
- Working in the field of housing management that required application of a variety of general business principles and practices concerning the purchase, rental, and overall utilization of housing facilities;
- Conducting surveys and gathering data;
- Monitoring program budgets; preparing correspondence and reports;
- Processing housing applications;
- Maintaining rental or leasing properties files/information.
OR
At least one of the following if using education to qualify at this grade level: Bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement (at least 3.0);
OR
Completion of one (1) full year of appropriate graduate level education (18 semester hours, 27 quarter hours, or the equivalent) in a field of study directly related to the work of the position to be filled for the required one year of specialized experience;
OR
A combination of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in or related to the work of this position and some graduate level education that provided the specific knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position and experience.
