Qualifications
NF-02 (Developmental)
Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, which demonstrates the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems.

NF-03
1. Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources profession which demonstrates the capability to perform a variety of recruitment and staffing,
2. Possess experience utilizing an automated recruitment and staffing system (i.e. USA Staffing, Avue, Resumix, PeopleSoft, etc.)
3. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
4. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.

Highly Preferred: In addition to the qualifications listed above, applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in a recruitment and placement capacity.
Applicants that meet Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others may be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list

Area of Consideration:
- The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is local commuting area (50 miles) to Joint Base Lewis McCord. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)

- COLA Eligibility: NF-03 positions are eligible for Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA). Positions must be located in Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. COLA eligibility and rates are subject to change without notice. COLA payments are in addition to advertised basic pay. Current COLA percentages: Alaska 2.01%, Hawaii 9.28% and Fort Buchanan 2.81%.
