In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience in personnel management and administration. Experience with unemployment program laws, rules, regulations and procedures. Must have experience and skill in understanding of the systems, methods, and administrative machinery for accomplishing the work of an organization. Experience to analyze problems and apply sound judgment in assessing the practical implications of alternative solutions. Experience in researching laws, regulations, policies and procedures to make accurate determinations on complex issues.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.
2. Knowledge of and skill in understanding of the systems, methods, and administrative machinery for accomplishing the work of an organization.
3. Ability to analyze problems and apply sound judgment in assessing the practical implications of alternative solutions.
4. Able to show experience in researching laws, regulations, policies and procedures to make accurate determinations on complex issues.
5. Knowledge of unemployment program laws, rules, regulations and procedures.
