GS07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience reviewing plans, when requested, for new construction and alteration of facilities included in the industrial hygiene program.
- Experience maintaining data, documents, samples, and monitoring results of surveys in Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System - Industrial Hygiene (DOEHRS-IH) database or similar systems.
- Experience participating in educational programs designed to explain applicable legislation, latest industrial hygiene techniques and general occupational health.
OR- possess 1 year of graduate-level education
or superior academic achievement
OR- possess a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to 100% of the requirement.
GS09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience planning and conducting evaluation of work operation involving potentially hazardous conditions to chemical and physical hazards.
- Experience preparing final technical reports after completing statistical data analysis and incorporating all findings and recommendations to include medical surveillance, personal protective equipment, engineering controls and administrative controls for review.
- Experience maintaining, calibrating, and selecting sampling equipment and sample media, to collect air breathing zone and noise dosimetry samples in an industrial environment.
OR- possess 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
or master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR- possess a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to 100% of the requirement.
