Selectee occasionally lifts and carries weights up to 50 lbs. Work involves standing, and sitting positions for continuous periods as well as frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.
Works occasionally involves fumes and unpleasant odors (e.g. cleaning solvents and preservative sprays). Also is intermittently exposed to common electrical/mechanical industrial hazards.
Occasionally works in confined dark spaces.
Employee may be required to work overtime, is subject to emergency recall seven days a week and is subject to shift work.
Selectee may be required to perform off-station and off-Oahu "on-site" work assignments. These work assignments may involve working in hazardous duty areas and the working of irregular hours. Temporary duty assignments will involve travel by commercial or military aircraft and surface craft for training and development purposes.
Occasionally assigned duties will require selectee to enter into and work inside confined spaces. Selectee will be required to receive a pre-placement physical examination based upon the type of work performed and hazards to be encountered, an annual examination based on the potential of these hazards and a termination examination upon termination of employment or reassignment to other duties.

PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
