In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position listed under Education, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying prevention methods and techniques in order to evaluate, consult, coordinate, and advise on prevention program activities towards the prevention of destructive or problematic behaviors (i.e. suicide, sexual harassment/assault, substance misuse, family/interpersonal/workplace violence); 2) Applying program management methods and techniques, and knowledge of command prevention programs, principles, practices, policies, laws, regulations, and methodologies to coordinate and advise on prevention program activities; AND 3) Applying professional verbal communication methods and techniques to collaborate with external and internal personnel and leadership at various echelons to effectively coordinate prevention program activities, and to clearly advise, influence, advocate, and inform on prevention programs.
