Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning and carrying out work within the established policies and practices while following instructions and guidelines to resolve encountered problems; 2) Preparing basic project documentation for projects, basic requirements documentation for site approval, and documentation for moderate to complex projects with minimal review/input; 3) Conducting Asset Evaluations on a majority of facility and structure types for review; 4) Participating in land use planning and site evaluations as a team member point of contact.

For the GS-11 - Have 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree
OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR a combination of education and specialized experience listed above that equals 100% of the requirements for this position.
For the GS-09: Have 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR master's or equivalent graduate degree.
