In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position:
FOR THE GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Applying environmental compliance concepts, theories, principles, practices, and techniques necessary to ensure that environmental concerns are properly identified and resolved; 2) Applying knowledge of guide specifications, criteria and policy, industry codes and standards, and standard practices as related to environmental compliance issues; 3) Providing guidance on local, state, and federal laws, codes, and other statutory requirements affecting environmental issues; 4) Conducting environmental audits and regulatory inspections with development and implementation of corrective actions; 5) Interpreting the latest developments in environmental laws and practices to assess environmental impact, develop contingency plans, plan containment facilities, and initiate cleanup actions for toxic spills; 6) Managing A-E contracting procedures and skill in negotiating a fair and reasonable price for A-E contracts and change orders.
