This announcement uses the Post-Secondary Students and Recent Graduates direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.
You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) if applying for the 0819 series. Your license must be held in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. You MUST provide a copy of your current license with your application.
A copy of a wall certificate that does not have an expiration date will not serve to verify this requirement.
For the GS-09 position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the execution of the Environmental Compliance programs policies and procedures; 2) Outlining and discussing possible problem areas and define objectives, plans, priorities and deadlines; 3) Writing Scopes of Work, creating government estimates, and negotiating contract task orders with various contractors (e.g., Indefinite Deliver, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) single- and multi-media, Base Operating Services (BOS);and 4) Assisting in the evaluation of contractor's proposals and follow-on work

For the GS-07 position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the development of high visibility issues and providing any necessary back up documents, reports, or correspondence; 2) Assisting with limitations, quality and quantity expected, deadlines, and priority of assignments.; 3) Assisting in compliance meetings or inspections with Federal and State Environmental regulators..
