In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience utilizing techniques and survey methods of bathymetry, hydrography, oceanography, and geophysical data collection; including training and extensive experience in survey field operations. Experience in survey ship operations, facilities, and capabilities. Experience communicating with scientists, engineers, and technicians in preparation of marine survey projects. Experience managing technical programs and the ability to resolve technical problems to ensure the timely and successful completion of programs. Experience developing environmental support products by interpreting and describing relevant environmental data, using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), particularly ArcGIS/ArcPro software. Experience developing creative solutions and apply resourcefulness, initiative and judgment based upon expertise. Experience extending traditional geophysical surveying methods and results to apply to new concept projects or missions.
